Create a School Radio Drama

Learn how to engage your students to create and perform a school radio drama using stories. Youth can develop their vocal skills, learn how to select music, coordinate timing, and create sound effects using everyday objects to convey the story to the audience.

Radio plays help students gain additional performance skills like projection, diction, and using emotion. Students get to experiment with the playwriting process and can then perform their play for the rest of the class (either a live or pre-recorded performance).

Check out the Theater Folk who share their step by step process for creating a Radio Drama.
