Living History Day

Assign your students an activity that lets them contrast between the time they are studying and the time they live in now. Where they can find appreciation for a slower way of life. Bring a Living History Day to your school and have students research different historical periods and create immersive experiences in different areas of the school.

Teams must work together to accurately represent their assigned era through costumes, activities, and presentations, teaching others as they rotate through the "time periods." Check out the Coop Home School website for some fun ideas to make this happen on a field trip or in the classroom.
