Since 2009, hundreds of thousands of Global (formerly National) Day of Unplugging participants have joined the movement to elevate human connection over digital engagement in their cities across the globe.
The Center for Tomorrow’s Leaders and students from Waipahu High School have joined the movement for Global Day of Unplugging (GDU) 2025! This unique program takes students from Freshman to Senior year and gives them progressive challenges at each level. The senior students this year decided to tackle digital addiction through their “Disconnect to Reconnect” Program and are partnering with several restaurants that will offer incentives for people who dine without their devices.
