Since 2009, hundreds of thousands of Global (formerly National) Day of Unplugging participants have joined the movement to elevate human connection over digital engagement in their cities across the globe.
Our very own Kim Cavallo (Co-Executive Director of Unplug Collaborative) brings her passion for unplugging to the big apple! Kim is joined by Sound Mind Live, Knock Knock Give a Sock, the NYC YoYo Club and Stuyvesant High School who are all working to elevate IRL connections.
Plans for Global Day of Unplugging 2025 include:
SoundMind Live - there will be a sober dance party on March 8
Stuyvesant High School - March 7, students will decorate t-shirts and write a break up letter to their phones.
