Unplug and Crochet for a Cause

Join digital wellness company, Lilspace and Yarn Bomber, London Kaye in crocheting letters and making signs that can be gifted to people moving out of homelessness and into a safe living environment.

How will the signs reach these living spaces?

Our nonprofit partners and recipients are:

There are other nonprofit organizations around the world that help at-risk youth, refugees and veterans find housing. If you don’t have a nonprofit organization in mind, you can send your crochet letters or the full sign to our team and we will donate it for you to Covenant House or LA Family Housing. Email us for details of where to mail your letter or sign when you are ready to put it in the mail.

Learning a new craft, being creative, and giving back to people in need are great incentives to spend less time online. Get the crochet pattern and supplies HERE.

Beginner level!! Those who already know how to crochet can make a sign in less than a few hours. People who don't know how to crochet can learn and make one of the letters for the signs in less than 30 minutes.

Watch London Kaye show you how to crochet a “welcome home” sign.

London has recorded two video tutorials. You can watch the 5 minute video with more detailed instructions HERE.
